Retirement event for Glen Haubold - the great leader of NMSU Facility and Services. Hope he puts his Aggie golf bag to good use. If you ever wondered why NMSU has a beautiful campus it is Glen and his FS team. Glen - retirement is great.

Two of the very special people in my world - Ronn and Sharon Jones. They are family. Kathy and I enjoyed their help and support through government, business, and NMSU. Ronn passed away last week. We will celebrate his life May 3rd at St Alberts Newman at 11:00 am. God bless.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Manuel Lujan. Great American, Statesman, and New Mexican. He was always so close to the people and very unassuming. I long for the days of political leaders like the Congressman/Secretary .

Cutting the ribbon for the new women’s softball locker room. Great improvement for our great NMSU team. As you may recall I was their batboy when they went to the NCAA tournament. It was a joy to watch these athletes in action

I want to thank Senator Stuart Ingle for appointing me to the new NM Ethics Commision. Over 10 years ago I co-chaired a task force recommending that NM have such an agency. Some things take time. Look forward to continuing my interest in ethics.

Being sworn in as a Commissioner of the new NM Ethics Commission. I have gravely underestimated the workload but look forward to the task.

Yesterday Kathy and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary. 3 kids, 6 grandkids, 2 great grandkids. Great life together. To quote a C&W song, "It couldn't have been any better if I had been to the top of the world".

It has occurred to me that I haven’t been tweeting lately so i thought i would take a moment to congratulate the Aggies and Coach Jans on moving to the second round and hopefully the Sweet 16. Anyone around who attended the last time? I was there.
