🌳🎨 Independence Park, Charlotte's oldest public park, reopens after 2+ years of renovations! Check out the stunning "Natural Rhythm" mural by artist Georgie Nakima (GIZ◬), her first public art commission with Mecklenburg County & Arts/Science Council. 🎉

So proud of the @MeckParkRec team for an amazing job with Independence Park. Agency honored the original vision for the park with their design. Amazing mural by GIZ◬ through ASC Charlotte. Excited to enjoy Charlotte’s first public park again.
