This week, we kicked off our read-aloud, "A Rover's Story." We got to know the book's characters and worked on defining character traits for the ones we've encountered in the story so far.

This week, we began one of our mornings with a brisk walk. It nurtures our mental well-being and affords us with the chance to embrace fresh air and gather our thoughts for the day ahead.

At the start of the year, we read "Ishi," Japanese for "rock," which we use when we practice mindfulness. This morning, students expressed their feelings and got creative. Ask your child about their rock's name and why they chose it.

We've observed a considerable amount of litter in our school yard and the nearby park, prompting discussions on the significance of avoiding littering and its impact on our community and environment. Class 6-2 and 5/6 dedicated a period to clean up.🌍
