Putnam County Government Offices will be closed on Monday January 16, 2023 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday January 17, 2023 at 8 a.m.

There are signs of progress at the site of the new Putnam County Fire/EMS Station 10 and Coroner's Office. The estimated completion date for the project is Spring 2023.

On April 6, 2023 U.S. Representative Mike Collins visited Putnam County and talked with community leaders and elected officials. He also had the opportunity to interact with citizens during Government Fun Day.
