So much great music to enjoy as part of my #BlackHistoryMonth remembrance (big fan of Nina Simone!). Is there a song to reflect the current stage of Black history in the US by following the thread from George Floyd’s murder to bans on Black History being taught in schools?

I strongly oppose this anti-LGBTQ law. These kids deserve the right to play sports. We are sending the wrong message to the next-gen of Iowans & Americans. Iowa should be attracting people, not shutting them out. This shouldn’t even be an issue.

I had hoped that by now we would be done with legislative attempts to undermine the Iowa Civil Rights Act, but this session is worse than ever. I appreciate all of the business leaders who have spoken out against this backwards movement.

This is so shameful. Very proud that Principal® and Technology Association of Iowa spoke up about how harmful this bill is for Iowa businesses and citizens. thegazette.com/state-governme…

In 2007 Principal® hosted signing of bill adding sexual orientation and gender identity to the Iowa Civil Rights Act. Great reminder of business leaders critical role protecting against rights-revoking legislation like the shameful “religious freedom” bill just signed

Iowa has such a history of being an exemplar in providing its citizens equal rights. What took decades to build only takes a moment to lose. Shameful. iowacitypresscitizen-ia.newsmemory.com/?publink=14384…
