Imagine my surprise flicking through the paper and spotting not only MEG but also MYndspan out in the wild. Nice one. theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/a…

My code has inadvetnetly generated a plot in the colour scheme of the Alpine F1 team. Probably appropriate, as my code also is slow and often crashes.

New paper alert!!! The brilliant Mansoureh Fahimi visited Chunyan Cao's lab in Shanghai and returned with an exciting finding. She recorded from subthalamic DBS leads in Parkinson's patients and discovered that the STN responds to high-frequency (333 Hz) auditory stimuli.

Gang, please talk to Rob. What he knows on the confluence of MEG/OPM methods and cognitive neuroscience would be a valuable asset to anyone.

Just got the email that the landlord wants to raise the rent by so much, I am tempted to resign from my job on the spot, leave London and then throw myself into the Sun.

Glad to see Envelope Coupling made the cut, otherwise the first half of my career would have been redundant! 😅(Paper here btw - nature.com/articles/s4158…)

🚨New laminar MEG toolkit🚨I'm so happy to be at biomag2024 to announce the release of laMEG, an easy-to-install implementation of the simulations and analyses from our laminar MEG papers github.com/danclab/laMEG AND if you wish you could use SPM from python, keep reading👇🧵

One thing I’ve noticed we’ve forgotten post pandemic: when giving talks in person you MUST assume everyone is visually impaired and sitting several meters away from the screen. I’m not on my laptop, I can’t read your 10pt font.

Well that’s a wrap for me at biomag2024, really enjoyed learning about the cutting edge MEEG research. AND, personally, the first time I’ve not left a big conference feeling a hopeless inadequacy after seeing all of this incredible work. I call that progress.
