“There’s an extra wardrobe on my ship. We could move that in here.”

A hum. “What if we got a bigger place—? I’ve got the credits.”

“A bigger place, y’know, if you want. But if not— we can make the closet bigger, do whatever you want to this place. I’ve got plenty of credits saved up.”

“I mean— yeah? Or an apartment— your choice, really. Whatever you want, I’ll make it happen.” He says it sounds casually, like this isn’t equally as big of a step in their lives as Zane proposing was.

A soft but amused smile. “Darlin’ we’re gettin’ ( married ). Not possible to get much more stuck than that.” He gestures Zane over to him, patting his lap. “C’mere.”

He circles his arms around Zane’s waist, settles his chin on his shoulder. “Baby boy— I ain’t giving the ring back.” He shifts his left hand, the silver band catching the light. “You’re stuck with me. Now, d’you wanna buy a house, or not?”

Nico laughs softly, nosing into Zane’s neck gently. “I’ll start lookin’. Gotta keep it close to the shop and the cantina. For your sister and all.” Squeezes him around the middle. “Gotta find something with a landing pad for the ship. Cant leave her lyin ’ around.”
