I am not a fan of chain restaurants (there are 3 Barton Gs), and I expected to see a place where being seen was more important than the food. However, while the place is infinitely Instagrammable, food and service are excellent and I loved the whimsy. notgrilledcheese.blogspot.com/2020/03/barton…

More catching up. A great seafood restaurant in a very clean and friendly space run by a chef that I am friendly with. I will definitely have to return. notgrilledcheese.blogspot.com/2020/04/fisk-a…

What this means: Right now, our consumption of oil has plummeted during the pandemic lockdown. Oil drilling companies (like Exxon & BP) are having trouble stopping the wells fast enough (takes time to do safely) There's no storage left for oil, so extra oil becomes worthless.

Still catching up. Restaurant Week dinner at the restaurant occupying the former Green River space. notgrilledcheese.blogspot.com/2020/04/woodwi…

Back in the day there was a thing called a restaurant where you could join with friends to enjoy a meal and socialize. This one was for a very good brunch, a meal done generally on the weekends that falls between, or combines, breakfast and lunch. notgrilledcheese.blogspot.com/2020/05/bad-hu…

My last brunch before lock down had many different international flavors, sometimes in the same dish and a very exotic look. notgrilledcheese.blogspot.com/2020/05/beatni…
