The Furness Litfest committee is looking for new members and new supporters. Now we have changed from Dalton to cover the whole of Furness, it would be good to have people from Barrow or Ulverston or the villages. We want to enlarge our committee accordingly.

Last year we had four themes and this year we are aiming for five; they are - Thrillers, Fantasy, Relationships, Food and War Memoirs. #litfest2018

We are delighted to announce that there will be more speakers at this year’s Festival: 7 writers have accepted already with more in the pipeline. We also hope to secure one other writer to talk about her/his output. This one, if accepted, will be a “big name”. Exciting stuff!
