Things just kicking off at #MMEG2021

I had such a good time at @mmeg2021, thanks so much to the organisers! Such a friendly, well-organised conference. I was very nervous about speaking, but in the end it was great to be able to share my research and I was really happy so many people came to talk to me afterwards!

Day one back on the thesis. Word goal = 500 words. Currently 6 pomodoros completed but net 0 words - lots of editing out trash so far #thesiswriting

I feel like my thesis and I are on a rollercoaster together right now. 250 words so far today and a lot to think about #thesiswriting

Yesterday was more about reading than writing so today I have a lofty lofty goal of 1000 words BUT they don't have to be perfect. This should get my chapter introduction finished. I am 300 in atm, wish me luck! #thesiswriting #happyfriday
