Thanks for a great Yuri’s Night everyone! Featured in the first image is the prototype “StarChip,” a tiny spacecraft that Prof. Peck passed around during his lecture last night. The recording of Prof. Mason Peck’s lecture is now up on our website! cornellastrosociety.org/lecture-series

We're open tonight from 8 PM to midnight! It's looking mostly cloudy, but we’ll try our best. Venus may still be visible! The stargazing doesn’t stop in the summer! We hope to be open every Friday through the end of July. Just check here to make sure!

We’re open tonight (and every Friday through July)! The cloud cover is only partial today, so after all the weeks of smoke and rain, tonight is an ideal time to observe with us! Open 8 PM to midnight—but not dark enough to observe til after 9 ✨

Open 8 PM to midnight tonight! We’re back to 50% cloud cover, but we might still get a glimpse at the Moon, Mars, and Venus before they set in the early evening. Even if there’s not much to see, the fireflies from Fuertes are like stars of their own!
