Still thinking about seeing last night #YouBuryMe Orange Tree Theatre written by Ahlam and directed by Katie Posner - she/her. The lyricism of the show brings to life the trauma of the Arab Spring in Cairo and its impact on the young. Such a wonderful intro to my time with Paines Plough
I loved the blurring between dream and reality in #TheSleepWatcher Sceptre Books by Rowan Hisayo Buchanan. It reminded me of fiction’s power to speak to family tensions that are often left unsaid
Loved the two Paines Plough shows Edinburgh Festival Fringe I saw last night - Bullring Techno Makeout Jamz and The Last Show Before We Die. Raw and honest theatre at its best. Well done to all the team!
I really recommend Dr Andrea Mason literary kitchen for anyone new to creative writing. I would never have done an MFA without her!
Incredibly proud of Laura Misch as she embarks on her European tour of her album Sample the Sky lauramisch.lnk.to/samplethesky
