Alright, I've had a bit more time to digest the statement from Dungeons & Dragons on their new OGL and I'm going to talk about it in a thread because this text box is way too short to fit it all. So pull up a chair #OpenDnD folks, thread time. 🧵

Lets get some of the obvious stuff out of the way. They stated that these were just a draft and that none of the language was final. This is a lie. Creators were handed contracts and told to make a decision and sign. These were not draft contract, but real binding ones.

This entire episode was a major breach of trust. It's difficult to picture a world where creators can look at WotC and see anything but greed. I'll be keeping my eye open for more info about the OGL and covering it when we get more.
