In the last 24 hours I've learnt that there are a lot of people in the UK who would watch Dirty Harry and think it's a tragedy about the unsympathetic treatment of a man with mental health issues and that Harry is the real bad guy.

There's a $250 million Mel Gibson film on the way, which even the great man himself describes as an 'acid trip' I feel like someone in a Godzilla film: I can hear the foot steps approaching but can only brace myself for the colossus that's making them.

Prediction: The Highlander remake, instead of sticking closely to the original story but taking the opportunity to smooth out a few of the narrative bumps will instead stray wildly, over complicate everything and be a lot less enjoyable as a result.
