We had a great morning with ArtatWorkNorwich CIC Norwich Castle looking at the #TextileTreasures exhibition. It was fab seeing the @EnglishPlus_Nrw artworks made in lockdown in partnership with us, Strangers' Hall & Bethan Thanks to Ruth Battersby-Tooke. 🧵 The National Lottery Heritage Fund Midlands & East

These Letters Patent were granted by Edward VI #otd 1548. They grant the lands of the former Holy Trinity and St George’s Guilds to the Mayor and Burgess. These were the two largest guilds and were extremely wealthy. The boy king can be seen in the illuminated initial Norfolk Record Office
