Did you see us in the The New York Times profile of Columbus, MS today? 👀 Friendly City Books, an independent bookseller, opened downtown a few years ago and became a haven for its regulars. Thanks y’all! ❤️ nytimes.com/2024/04/27/us/…

Delighted to have a poem included in friendlycitybooks anthology, “Savor: Food for the Tongue.” friendlycitybooks.com/savor

Is there any better way to end the school year than with a visit from THE Angie Thomas?! We had the best time visiting local public schools in Columbus & Starkville with such an amazing Mississippi role model. If y’all haven’t read Nic Blake yet, what are you waiting for??

This was truly a day to remember. Thank you so much friendlycitybooks!

Had an amazing time at the Possumtown Fest, hosted by friendlycitybooks! There are so many talented writers in Mississippi - it's such a literary place! The book fair was so fun! And the panels were fantastic, including a panel hosted by Root Magazine!
