Sent a P cow to town today with some other culls. Had half a mind to let her live out her days at home, but not sure the accountant would agree. Now my oldest cow on the place is a Z. Herds getting younger by the minute #sadday

Went to grab my tin of Copenhagen out of my pocket, apparently the lid wasn’t closed. I have probably 15 dollars worth of chew in my pocket. Mixed in with lint, straw chaff, and apparently a few oat kernels. Going to be an interesting mix. #pocketchew #addicted

If you don’t have many memories of whacking your head off of the side window or something in the tractor cab. Are you even a #realfarmkid ? Pretty sure he’s gained that title, complaining of too many bumps in the feed yard. Can’t become a #regularrancher without it.

It’s worth coaching hockey regardless, as I enjoy seeing these kids progress throughout the year. But this sure makes a guy feel good too!

Not quite a replay but close

Tin of Copenhagen fell out of my pocket while unplugging the baler. Then proceeded to unknowingly bale up said tin of Copenhagen. That bale just doubled its value #goddammit

No one else in view who’s baling, combining or harrowing. How am I supposed to know when to turn my tractor lights on, if there’s no one else out here to play the lights game with? Do I just consider this a win by default? #winning #strawbaling

Weaned calves and hauled them in to auction mart today. Being I live this close to town, what’s everyone’s guess as to how many town people I hear from about my cows being noisy? Last year was 4
