"Despite the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith recently announcing the appointment of judges for the canonical trial of Marko Ivan Rupnik, the Slovenian priest accused of abusing several nuns continues to exercise his ministry without any restriction."

Catholic News Service Rome Talking about women's dignity in connection with the deaconate... The two have nothing to do with each other. Women cannot receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders. It has nothing to do with their dignity. Some clearly do not understand what human dignity is and/or Holy Orders.

People often reference the destruction of embryos as the reason IVF is wrong but even if it were the case not a single embryo were destroyed in the process IVF would still be immoral.

Not terribly satisfied with the new Liturgy of the Hours & Exposition hymn translations. If it rhymes in the original Latin, that's part of its structure as much as meter. English has enough vocab to pull it off, as many earlier translators did while still faithful to meaning.
