'We Move' by Gurnaik Johal - a former student here - is our latest book choice for #greenfordread. Year 12 students and teachers are reading it right now, and we'll discuss it as a #readingcommunity in May. Proud to support authors writing about the #Greenford #Southall community
Ms Williams and Ms Moganchi read Refugee Boy by Professor Benjamin Zephaniah for the Year 7 #livinglibrary today. The pupils were so engaged and the book was borrowed straight after the reading. #readingforpleasure #schoollibraries #librariesmatter
Our last #livinglibrary of the year was from the Ultimate Football Heroes series by Matt Oldfield and of course it had to be about former Greenford High School pupil Bukayo Saka Thanks to Mr Moors for reading and Ms Williams for organising. #readingforpleasure
On #WorldBookDay2024 , let's remind ourselves of how beneficial reading is. World Book Day UK 📚
