This resonates with me. Of course we are about the students... but you show me an effective and respected school leader, and I’ll show you someone who understands the importance of supporting teachers.

Admin, when you observe a teacher, don’t feel you have to critique EVERY time. Too often teachers are told, "you did great BUT, " Sometimes just, " Leave the BUTS behind”. Let them know specifically what they did well & move on. Leave them feeling validated & focused on positive!
