Every time I‘ve done a shift where I didn’t have time to eat I fondly remember when my father, who is more accustomed to the fire fighter lifestyle, asked me if we have a kitchen at our station so that we can all meet up and cook when on a break 😂

Went to my first ever not fresh sudden death the other day. At least 3 weeks in this heat. The colleague I was with couldn’t handle the body, bless him, so I had to do all the checks. I really thought I would struggle with the sight and smell but was weirdly fine with it all.

I honestly think every Officer who worked NHC should have at least two days off before back to normal duties. I had one day off and then back to my team and even though I went to bed early each day I am still utterly exhausted. over 30 hours in 2 days are taking their toll.

There's not being a fan of the Royals (an understandable position), then there's actively celebrating the death of an elderly woman. The second one makes you a very unsavoury person. She was an icon. Undeniably. And as someone who isn’t a royalist, I for one will mourn her loss.

A BCU just pulled officers from NPT to ERPT without them having a say in this to fill gaps. The same BCU that didn’t allow probationer Officers to get their 1st or 2nd choice for finale posting,which would’ve been ERPT, but sent them where they didn’t want to go. No logic 🤷🏻‍♀️
