The commodification and financialisation of housing is totally against the common good. This neoliberal crap must be stamped out. Where your children lay their heads should not be an exercise in greed.

Will be voting for Rachel Millward for Deputy Leader of the Greens. As a fellow culture to politics nerd I am very excited to see what she brings to the party (as well as her great jackets).

The global industrial border complex is one of the most evil things in existence. There is no rhyme nor reason to treat humans like this.

Banu Mushtaq and Deepa Bhasthi gave such an enlightening talk on Heart Lamp at JLF International. Also incredibly pleased to hear that Banu is having a novel published in English soon to follow on from the incredible success of Heart Lamp this year.

Cool, you can buy a dildo in Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank can't even get there to buy this liberated dildo, even if they wanted to. Racially supremised sexual 'freedom' means nothing when it coexists with apartheid and genocide. Hope that helps.

Shocking decision by the BBC to drop the film about the healthworkers of Gaza by respected film makers Ben de Pear and Ramita Navai I hope basement films can now broadcast it elsewhere. We need to hear the voices from Palestine that the BBC is silencing bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Lest not forget that in 2004, Keir Starmer defended a man who broke into an RAF base and tried to set fire to British aircraft. Starmer argued his actions were legal because they were to stop an 'illegal war.'

Dear Ms. Yvette Cooper, what is disgraceful is Israel's genocide against Palestinians in Gaza for the last 20 months; what is disgraceful is the UK's continued support of the genocide including through weapons transfers; what is disgraceful is starvation as a weapon of war;

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is growing more and more dire by the day. According to the United Nations, more than 400 people have died trying to access food aid in the past month alone. They describe the situation as "a death sentence for people just trying to survive".
