I’m proud that people from nearly 200 countries work in our NHS. I completely condemn this racist violence and stand with our staff and the communities they live and work in. Thank you to our emergency services who are working hard to keep everyone safe.

Now more than ever we need to report all incidents of racism in the NHS however "small" they seem. I know it's hard to report all incidents but if we have a better culture of reporting EVERYTHING, we can prevent more serious incidents & show colleagues we actually care

They were all in critical condition so this is wonderful news and a tribute to the staff at Alder Hey.

Thanks to the 300 people who came along today to talk about the impact of racism, Islamophobia and violence on them, their families, communities and our services. Your courage is enormous.
