I’m proud that people from nearly 200 countries work in our NHS. I completely condemn this racist violence and stand with our staff and the communities they live and work in. Thank you to our emergency services who are working hard to keep everyone safe.

Now more than ever we need to report all incidents of racism in the NHS however "small" they seem. I know it's hard to report all incidents but if we have a better culture of reporting EVERYTHING, we can prevent more serious incidents & show colleagues we actually care

Thanks to the 300 people who came along today to talk about the impact of racism, Islamophobia and violence on them, their families, communities and our services. Your courage is enormous. The #allyship was palpable. It’s a privilege to be CEO West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and be alongside you.

Will be some horrendous attitude issues behind this but is also making me recall the 1980s case in Canterbury where a vet was allowed by the surgeon to operate. Can any assure me I didn’t imagine it?

Complicated but important analysis. Supposedly non- selective secondary schools, all running the same admission rules, manage to ensure the free school meals kids have disproportionate lack of access to the high performing schools.
