We had a lot of kids, as well as some adults, over 40 in total, taking photos, signing their names, and suggesting names for the bookmobile, at the recent Back-To-School Picnic. Next April, the bookmobile will hit the streets, thanks to your generous support!

The bookmobile, a Ford 450 box truck, was delivered to the company that will outfit the interior. They will add a side door, shelves, wiring, flooring, computers, a lift, & an awning. It will begin service next April. Thanks for helping us put the bookmobile on the road!

More milestones to report on the Framingham Library library bookmobile! The company doing the build out on the base vehicle has installed a stainless steel skirt on both sides, a generator, interior wood floors & walls, & the ceiling. Stay tuned for more updates as progress continues!

The Framingham Library library bookmobile customization continues! Interior shelving (with a backward tilt to prevent books from falling out) and lighting, and the circulation desk, are currently being installed. And we are still on target for an April rollout, so stay tuned!
