Our final day of Wit & Wisdom English Guided Observations was at Estes Elementary. It was another great day seeing the amazing things happening in Buncombe Schools classrooms!
I spent the day digging into Wilson Language Training #Fundations with 2nd grade colleagues at Avery's Creek today. We had powerful conversations around instructional practices as a PLC that will support our students!
Today was great! Teachers are prepared and excited for students to arrive at Summer Reading Camp on Monday. Thank you to my amazing colleagues from Buncombe Schools, Tsianina, Missy, and Cindy, for presenting today.
Great things were happening in Buncombe Schools SRC at Haw Creek and Weaverville today as we wrapped up our first week! Students were writing using sentence patterning charts and practicing their decoding and encoding skills.
Kicking off August with Wit & Wisdom English Launch training! I'm excited for these teachers to begin their journey teaching the curriculum in a few short weeks.
Today was Buncombe Schools 24/25 PD day. I had the pleasure of leading and learning alongside some wonderful educators to deepen our knowledge and plan for Wit & Wisdom English. It's going to be a great year!
