Totally thrilled to find a completely new species for me & only because I got a bit lost on my local patch yesterday. Who knew such a rarity was virtually under my nose. Coral Necklace, Illecebrum verticallatum. #wildflowerhour sadly not #bythesea although it was in a damp area.

Just in time for #wildflowerhour I found a new plant to me this week & luckily it fits in to the #daisyfamily challenge. Ploughman's Spikenard, Inula conyzae. I'm not sure if this is in bud, flowering or gone over?

Had fun looking for the #winter10 this weekend. Managed to find 10 including a new one for me, Melilotus albus, white sweet clover. Sadly still didn't see any sun though. wildflowerhour
