All kids arrived safely home from our field trip to Jack Smythe. Students sorted rocks and minerals, took a hike, and the brave ones went into a cave. Some students even saw a deer in the forest. The kids learned a lot and had a great day.

4AF & 4BF had worked on a story map for their creative French story in class last week. The rough copy of the story is due on Thursday April 5.

4AF & 4BF have had their French stories peer edited. The second draft is due on Friday. 4AF will present their French play on Thursday, 4BF on Friday.

There will be an algebra test on Wednesday for 4bf, and Thursday for 4af. Students will be given a review sheet two days prior to the test. Have a great weekend, hope there is no ice storm.

Sometimes strange things happen (like this weather). For Monday, April 16, all schools and offices in the Peel District School Board are closed. This includes all busing and all before/after school programs, including night school. Please RT before going back to bed. Be safe!

Students in both classes have been assigned a research assignment for Asian Heritage Month. There will be time for students to complete the task at school, but they can rehearse their presentation at home. Students may bring devices to research.

The students will be marked on paragraph writing and their speech. The assignment is only 10 paragraphs long. Please call or send a note if you have any questions.

Our education week concert will be at RHL next Thursday (May10). Students are asked to be there at 6 pm. Both classes are asked to go to room 103 when they arrive. Please pick up your children from the same room at the en of the concert. Thanks.
