As 2022 draws to a close, we're in a reflective mood. We've achieved so much in 2022, and we're fired up for next year. We are so proud to provide funding and support for the TJBCM. Here's a reminder of what we've achieved so far, focusing on our adult Centres of Excellence...

The jewel in the crown of the @tessajowellbraincancermission is the adult NHS Tessa Jowell Centres of Excellence. There are now have 17 Centres spanning the UK. The NHS has commended the centres as already making a major difference for patients. Learn more below.

We know this time of year can be incredibly difficult for anyone dealing with illness, grief, money worries or loneliness. If you are struggling, know that you are not alone in your feelings and that it is okay not to be okay. Please reach out and ask for help if you need it.

2022 has been a fantastic year for the TJBCM. We are so proud of the work we have been able to support and can not wait to see what vitally important projects are launched this coming year. We hope 2023 is a good year for you, your family, your community and the wider world.

Like many of you, we have a mile-long 'to-do' list, and knowing where to start as a new year begins can be difficult. We are reflecting on the values that guide and inspire us as a team to create our 2023 plans. These are the same values which guided Tessa throughout her life.

Today the Follow TJ Arts Acade delivered the first 'Foundations in Support Care' course workshop. Funding by Liz Hill's family shows that those affected by brain cancer are incredibly dedicated to improving the situation for future brain cancer patients. #BrainTumourAwarenessMonth

The FA's #LetGirlsPlay campaign won the Tessa Jowell Community Award at the Sports Industry Awards. Tessa would be proud to be associated with this campaign to give girls equal access to football in school and their community by 2024. The FA Sports Industry Keir Starmer
