Birdville's Personalized Learning will be online Mon, Mar 30, students study independently at different locations and times, without real-time communication taking place. Info will be posted on the Personalized Learning: Student Online Resources web page by Monday, March 23.

Birdville ISD is distributing Chromebooks Mon, Mar 23 for students in need. In order to provide for as many homes as possible, the District is limiting the number to one per house. Principals will “screen” the requests for “wants” vs. “needs”.

After consulting with Tarrant County Public Health officials, Birdville ISD is joining area school districts in extending our emergency closure. BISD will be closed through April 17 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Online learning will begin Mon., March 30.

TX Gov. Greg Abbott amended his Exec. Order, now calling for all schools to remain closed in the state of TX until May 4. This means BirdvilleISD facilities will be closed and all events/activities canceled until May 4; Online learning and the free lunch stations will continue.

Friday, April 10, is a day off for District employees, and students are not expected to participate in online learning.
