FCPD and San Mateo Consolidated Fire are on scene at Bowditch Middle School on a report of a small fire contained to a garbage can in the restroom. The fire is now out; there is no damage and there are no injuries.

Please stay away from the area of Polynesia Drive and Comet Drive. The fire department is currently working on containing a structure fire. Residents have been evacuated and are safe.

All of the business lines are down when calling into the PD from an external line.  IT was notified and it’s effecting all city phone lines (those starting with 650-286-XXXX).   9-1-1 and the 7-digit emergency line (573-3333) are still working.

Sandbags and sand have been re-stocked at the City Hall parking lot located at 610 Foster City Blvd. There is still a 10 bag limit per resident.

From FC Public Works and Parks: Sand is available in front of FC City Hall. However there are NO sandbags. At this time the city is unable to obtain additional bags due to a lack of availability. The Police has no more information at this time. Be prepared Foster City!
