Have you ever wondered what it takes to keep bees? Join For-Mar & Withers Mountain Honey Farm head beekeeper Jim Withers on 1/25/20 for this beginner beekeeping class. You’ll leave prepared with what you need to know about equipment & what to do to start your own hive.

Join us for – Scouting Outing: Sap to Syrup Science! Learn some of the history behind For-Mar’s Sugar Bush Trail, what it takes to make syrup, & try a few tasty treats in the process. Dress for the weather. For ages 4-12, all abilities. Cost: $4 per scout.

Knee High Naturalist: Sugarbush Time! For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum Learn about the many foods that come from trees. Make and taste maple syrup. For ages 3-6, all abilities. Adult must accompany children. Cost: $4 per student. Pre-registration required by 3/17/20.
