A 49yo AZ man was arrested Wednesday accused of threatening to “shoot up an LGBT bar” in Phoenix. Court paperwork says Treven Gokey cited Charlie Kirk’s assassination saying “far left violence breeds a far right response.” Allegedly said “transgenderism should be eradicated.”

After six Phoenix Police officer involved shootings in the last six weeks, Phoenix Police Chief Matt Giordano has announced the following actions aimed at de-escalation:

This morning, ABC15 Arizona is covering another officer involved shooting at 7th street and southern ave. Phoenix police say one person was taken the hospital with serious injuries. No officers were hurt.

Earlier this month Gilbert Lara violently robbed a store at knife point near 67/Camelback. He took money from the registers and assaulted an employee. Real time crime center observed him fleeing the area on foot and vehicle. Lara was arrested just two days later.
