If the leaked draft opinion overturning Roe becomes reality-as nearly all expect it will-this country’s already horrendous maternal mortality will only become worse, especially for Black women. I hope this isn’t lost in the inevitable legal debates over stare decisis, SDP, etc

APPALLED that planned parenthood has turned its own rhetoric into anti-union, anti-worker talking points in an org-wide email. the workers ARE the organization. their rights are reproductive rights. labor justice is reproductive justice. who needs a primer on this?

no one wants to ban the word women, the framing is so ridiculous and reductive. providers and organizations focusing on abortion, birth care, etc. are perfectly capable of serving women and also making room for the rest of us. this writing is painful.

Please don’t cut trans men and nonbinary people out of the conversation today. This is not just a women’s rights issue, anyone who can get pregnant is affected.

the absolute body horror of forced pregnancy and birth in a country where so many die doing it. and they’re coming for more. it’s just a bad day.
