I know nothing about Project Dominion or any plans for Cardassia to join the Dominion. I have never even heard of the Dominion. I disagree with many things the Dominion is saying, and trying to conquer all solids sounds awful to me. I wish them luck in anything they do.

Re-upping this important news from Friday. Carney Hospital in Dorchester is the primary medical facility in the area and serves many low-income, uninsured patients. Despite state law requiring 120 day notice, embattled Steward Health Care plans to close the hospital on Aug 31.

City Councilor Ed Flynn, who used to work security at Carney, said he plans to file a resolution that would put the Steward-owned hospital in city hands. Others have also floated the idea of a receivership that would allow Massachusetts DPH to take over operations.

Latinidad is an identity that was fabricated for political reasons to try to create a sense of political community between Romance language speaking peoples in the Americas in the mid-19th century. Like all concepts it evolves. If Jenna Ortega feels Latina, you can’t veto that
