There’s a rustling in the bushes. Someone followed him, but how? It’s so dense out here no one should’ve been able to track him down….

There’s a bit more rustling, then silence… “Max, I just wanted to see if you’re alright.” Yep, it’s David.

He’s just standing out of sight, in the bushes somewhere in front of Max. “I’m sure it would be better if you talked about it….”

A small sigh, but clearly not leaving. David’s really just gonna stand out there and guilt Max into talking isn’t he…?

But eventually, yeah. David realizes he can’t just stand around forever and… he’s gonna have to let Max handle this one on his own, as much as it pains him to do it.

David left, sure. But after… god Max didn’t know how long, more rustling in the bushes. Was David back for him? Someone else? The breeze???
