I would like to see an end to *all* trawling and dredging within 6nm of the coast, regardless of boat size. This will give the best chance for marine life recovery.

Please make a submission, it only takes 5mins

The consultation on trawling in the 6nm zone closes this Friday at 1pm.

Our blog will tell you how to submit. It takes less then 5 minutes and is a chance to make a huge difference to the health of our inshore marine ecosystems and coastal communities

A critically endangered grey nurse shark has been filmed off New South Wales in Australia with a frisbee stuck around its body, forcing it to rely only on its tail as the beach toy slowly digs further into its skin.

Week 289 Today I am 17, one year to go before I can vote for our planet! I started striking because I couldn’t vote and it was the only way to get my point across as a young person! After all these years I am counting down! Greta Thunberg Fridays For Future

Ireland is unprepared for the sea level rise & coastal land loss coming with climate change yet a high level government group promised 5 mth ago is still not set up.
Experts incl. Dr. Eugene Farrell say the issues must be tackled 'sooner rather than later'

We know this is a ‘sensational’ photo but this is how much rubbish we were able to get within a metre of the harbour porpoise… our marine animals don’t stand a chance with the pollution they swim in.
