In past weeks with Omicron spreading, some persons being released from prisons, jails, & addiction treatment centers without ID cards or vaccination cards. If persons are symptomatic, they are turned away from shelters. NJRC will provide immediate & secure temporary shelter.

The New Jersey Legislature Bill S250 has finally taken effect on January 1st. This bill prohibits landlords from asking about past criminal history on the housing applications. I applaud Governor Phil Murphy for signing this bill.Sheila Oliver George Helmy
