After quite the ride, I'm over the moon that my paper 'A Woman First and a Philosopher Second: Relative Attentional Surplus on the Wrong Property' is out in Ethics: journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/72… It's been selected for the PeaSoup blog discussion so will soon be made open-access 🥳

Excited to share a new paper w/ Maureen Gill! We investigated whether an individual's epistemic behavior - choosing to seek vs. forgo further evidence or explanation - supports inferences about the individual's commitment to truth, science, & religion. authors.elsevier.com/c/1hK6Q2Hx2tWtK

I’ve been working on the relationship between curiosity and travel, with an argument that heavily features Maria Lugones. Turns out some of my intuitions are already in this 2021 paper by Audrey Yap, so mine needs to be rethought—but this is v cool work! philpapers.org/rec/YAPHCO

Can emotional experience be mapped systematically? 'Quality spaces' have been mapped for the senses but not emotions. Why? Because they are 'too subjective'? I think not. My paper 'Towards an Affective Quality Space' is out open access in JCS! 1/5 👇 tinyurl.com/msafuc4a
