Flora Cornish & Cathy Long Thank you for inviting me to Grenfell, Writing on the Wall, tonight. It really took me back seeing the timeline. You’ve clearly detailed the community response against the official response, but I was pleased to see LBE within that 💚

last wednesday 20th, i attended the #Grenfell: Writing on the Wall exhibition at the The Tabernacle W11: 1. x.com/FloraCornish/s… 2. x.com/Cathy_TwoHalve… which charted, and documented, that incredible community response; alongside that of the statutory authorities. 💚 /2

Very significant exhibition and blog. Still beggars belief that state agencies were absent. The local community stepped up to fill the vacuum - its ownership of those memories is critical now and for the future historical narrative. Thanks to Flora Cornish and Cathy Long

It is a tough cross to bear, to have one's life be part of #disaster history. Cathy Long and I reflect on co-hosting an exhibition on the local response to #Grenfell in the local area. THANK YOU to all who came and chatted❤️🙏 blogs.lse.ac.uk/impactofsocial…
