gets home to find 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓. sleeping on the couch, gently kneeling down next to her and caressing her shoulder. “wake up, love, i’m gonna get our bed ready, okay? get some water and let’s hit the bed.”

Sally gasps and pulls away from Heather, quickly standing up to stare down at the blonde woman. “I-It’s okay—.” That’s all she says before moving to the bedroom, quietly making sure the bed is ready for them.

“It’s okay, it’s okay. . .” Who is she to judge others trauma? God knows Sally has her own fair share of it. Still it scares her when Heather acts like that against her. Finishing with the bed, she leaves to the kitchen to serve two glasses of water.

“I know. I really do, that’s why I’m here, love.” Sally’s just really tired and a bit in shock but still walks inside the room, leaving a glass on each side table and going to meet Heather for a hug.

“Please, always remember that I love you, and nothing is going to change that. Nothing.” Caresses her back gently, making sure that Heather feels safe and comfortable in her arms, closing her eyes while taking care of the blonde one.

Sally laughs, leaning in towards Heather as she enjoys every little display of affection.

The shorter one gives Heather a full proper kiss, gently laying her head over her own shoulder afterwards, caressing heathers back.

“Yeah, the family I worked with today actually gave a pretty big tip. Ask Dolores what she wants for dinner, on me.” Begins swaying their bodies around the living room.

“Then we getting McDonald’s for the young lady and us, how do an obscene amount of nuggets sound like?” Gently pulls away to get her phone and begin checking to order their dinner, humming. “Oh yeah? Even a hotel room for ourselves? My my. . .”

“Okay, then a lil box for Dolores and the big one for us.” The comment still makes her smile, eyes locked in her screen while making the order. “I like that idea, really. Just give me a heads up.”

“Sure thing, so you can wash it afterwards.” Jokes with a laugh, throwing her phone over the couch as she’s now finished, claiming the attention of her lover. “I have the best girlfriend ever.”

“You look so pretty today. . . I mean, everyday but still.” Rubs her nose tip against Heather’s and gives the blonde another little kiss, holding back a few giggles.
