+++CALLOUT +++ 📍 Meols 🗓️ 15/10/2024 ⏰ 14:54 Type: Missing Person Tasked alongside our colleagues Crosby CRT to assist Wirral CRT with a missing person search in Meols, Wirral. Stood down en route, person located by Merseyside Police Hoylake RNLI Lifeboat Station Hovercraft also in attendance

+++ CALLOUT +++ 📍 Runcorn 🗓️ 16/10/2024 ⏰ 01:18 Type: Police incident Team tasked alongside HM Coastguard Crosby to assist Cheshire Police with an incident in the Runcorn area. Incident resolved safely, stood down prior to leaving Station.

+++ CALLOUT +++ 📍 Speke 🗓️ 16/10/2024 ⏰ 12:34 Type: Aircraft Team tasked alongside HM Coastguard Crosby to reports of a light aircraft landing without instruments at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, aircraft landed safely and Team stood down prior to leaving Station. Mersey Fire also tasked.

+++ CALLOUT +++ 📍 Flint 🗓️ 19/10/2024 ⏰ 15:42 Type: Medical Incident Team tasked alongside Flint Lifeboat to a report of a member of public requiring assistance. Team members located the individual, and confirmed that no intervention was required.

+++ TRAINING +++ Today, 3 Coastguard Rescue Officers from our Team joined colleagues from Coastguard - Mid and North Wales at Bangor CG Station to undertake Search Team Leader assessments. All successfully passed.

Boxing Day swims are very popular in the UK, as keen beachgoers head for a festive dip. Make sure to acclimatise by entering the water slowly, getting used to the temperature and getting your breathing under control. In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
