today’s my last day before I move to CA for school, my friends surprised me with a sketchbook they all drew in full of my favorite characters, ocs, interests, inside jokes, photos of us, and memories with my friends… it’s the most special gift I’ve ever received T__T

i don’t say this to be cruel, but telling a creator that what they do makes you feel bad about yourself/makes you want to quit trying is Not A Compliment. no one feels good hearing that. it’s guilt-tripping, and places an expectation of apology on that creator.

I still love that set of illustration I did last year based on the Nutcracker!:D (it looks lile a winter wonderland outside so I am starting to feel festive!)
