#Flames main training camp starts Thursday at the 'Dome. Roster below consists of 34 forwards, 18 d-men, and six goalies. 58 players in total. As expected, no veteran PTO's at camp this year.

Gridin is definitely earning a spot with the Calgary Flames . I don’t see him starting the season with the big club just cause we’re already juggling a few players that would require waivers. But I do think he’s going to be the first call up after an injury or a couple big trades.

Obviously I’d love the #Flames to draft McKenna or Stenberg but honestly a player that’s really peaking my interest right now is Tynan Lawrence. He was out to start the season but since coming back this kid is looking like a complete Stud! I would not be shocked if he goes top 3!

I have been thinking about Rasmus Andersson trades lately since the day is looming. With LA already showing interest earlier in the season…. What about Andersson for Liam Greentree + LA’s 2026 1st and 2nd round pick? Could land a player like Malhotra or Hurlbert with LA‘s 1st?

The return for Andersson wasn’t terrible. Got another 1st round pick, great… Best case Maybe even another one, great… A solid defensive prospect (as long as he signs with us?), great. Whitecloud is a good defenseman, great. But didn’t address team needs & RD is still crowded.

I want these guys bad. I’d be using the Vegas pick for Liam and then I would even consider bundling our 2nd and Ottawa’s 2nd to move up into the lower first round to take Markus.
