Today in America, the value of a college degree varies by race, ethnicity, income, and gender—and it shouldn't. New findings from the Postsecondary Value Commission showcase the actions needed to create a postsecondary system that provides equitable value for students.

The number of high school graduates who went on to college in fall 2020 declined 6.8%, according to National Student Clearinghouse. The drop was more stark in high-poverty high schools at 11.4%, compared with a drop of 2.9% at low-poverty high schools. time.com/5951236/colleg…
