Made it to Mile 68 before my body gave out. Swollen shins, ankles, hallucinations my legs were spiders saw nonexistent wine bars Don’t remember wanting to nap on the grass. Feeling sorry for myself but I gave it everything. time to work on why I feel the need to destroy myself

Today remember all affected by the 1987 Kings Cross Underground fire. On this day 28 years ago 31 people died in the tragedy. The fire, which started on an escalator serving the Picadilly Line, resulted in improvements to firefighting practices and safety on the underground.
