14yo American Rye Cask nose- apricots, caramel, grass/ hayfields, oak, spice. A nose that just keeps on giving #JuraWhisky

14yo American Rye Cask palate- The sweet nose gives over to a much more citrus based palate. Lemons, limes, possibly grapefruit. Spice along the edge of the tongue straight away that mellows to more of a warm spice of cinnamon and dryness from the oak coming through #JuraWhisky

14yo American Rye Cask Finish- not an overly long or powerful finish on this one which is well suited to a dram enjoyed on a summers night. Keeps you coming back for more 😉 #JuraWhisky

18yo nose- wow what a nose! Punched with the rich fruitiness of the red wine at first. The oak then comes through along with Biscoff biscuits. Caramelised goodness. Biscuits and wine anyone?? #JuraWhisky

18yo palate- such a different spice on this one, rather than edge of tongue I get it all over. Black pepper and ginger being the strongest. An oaky, fruity, cakey delight #JuraWhisky

18yo finish- a lovely soft finish on this one of raisins and charred meat cooked over oak chips #JuraWhisky

21yo Time nose- if I’d been handed this blind I would never have said it was a 21yo. Very light and fresh. Floral, cut grass, apple with a hint of caramel #JuraWhisky

21yo Time palate- could be standing on a beach, fresh salty air, grasses blowing in the wind then matures to caramel apples, vanilla and nuts #JuraWhisky

21yo Time palate w/ water- what a change a couple of drops of water makes. The light fruitiness gives way to a drier, oaky mouthfeel #JuraWhisky

8yo Distillery Exclusive nose- first thing to jump up my nose… LEMON! Lemon curd, lemon sherbets, lemon drizzle cake. Fresh green apples too. I didn’t get the butter note straight away but it’s a note higher up in the glass definitely #JuraWhisky

8yo Distillery Exclusive- I’ll be quite honest, I don’t know what to make of this. I feel the abv takes away a lot of the flavour, the alcohol burn on my tongue takes over. As it mellows I get the lemon and apples from the nose. I wonder if the butter comes w/ water #JuraWhisky
