Added a Gold for an Irish Stout and a Silver for a Hefeweizen tonight at Red Earth Brewers spring competition! That means 8 total medals with 5 different beers at 3 spring competitions this year, including 2 gold and a second best in show! Can't wait for the fall competitions.
Mash in on the first ever Final Ascent scale up! We're at Grains & Taps brewing our Lunar Crush New Zealand Pilsner with Motueka, Wakatu and Nectaron hops.
Brewed a DIPA today with a Pliney style hop schedule. Hit my target OG of 1.074 with excellent yield. Enjoyed the last of my homebrewed Kölsch and West Coast IPAs from Outer Range Brewing and Alma Mader while I did it. Today was a good day.
Enjoying a pint of the my latest attempt at a hazy IPA which just won bronze at the ZZHops Homebrew Club competition! Loving this batch. Still some room to grow, but we're getting close to something special! #homebrewing
BKS pretty good at hazy IPAs, but this year's Pine Tree may be the best beer they've ever brewed. It tastes like spruce and juniper berries without being perfumy. You wouldn't think of a hazy as a Christmas beer, but this one works so well. It's awesome. BKS Artisan Ales
