An afternoon of tagging, ringing and tag team bull dogging

Took a brief pause in calving this weekend to start lambing. Calves coming in singles. Lambs coming in pairs.

Lunch time! Benefit of no school - feeding help. Math, science and agriculture class all rolled into one lesson!

And so starts another breeding season. The boys have gone to work.

Combines are rolling - time to bale straw. Wheat for bedding & oat for feed. Thanks to our grain neighbours for letting us bale their straw.

Excited about these Hereford x Gelbvieh ladies. 2 maternal breeds combined into 1 powerhouse.
