"Better? No. But it would be interesting to see you in cat ears." He smirks, chuckling softly as he watches her. "I like you just the way you are, honestly. But it's nice to change things up once in a while."

He blinks, the thought never occuring to him. "I mean... Now that you mention it, that would make things interesting. But I was just thinking you'd want a change of pace, maybe see what it feels like sometimes." He grins, inching closer to her.

"I could never be bored of you, Dee." He slides his hands to her waist, staring into her eyes. "Yeah... I know you would. Or you'd surprise me with something."

"Probably the best surprise ever." He chuckles, wrapping his arms around her in an embrace. "And definitely the biggest."

"Yeah, I almost forgot about that. You really should call her back. You can even use me as a reference if you need one." He smiles, resting his head on hers.

He nods, not wanting to let her go. "Yeah... Though I'm suddenly very reluctant to go anywhere. But we need groceries, and I really should get you some new clothes."

Oh, the thoughts coursing through his head at that moment. He'll need a minute to settle himself.

He clears his throat, trying to settle himself. "Someone could think... You're trying to tease me, Dee."

He smiles, looking at her as he softly pets her head. "Having a rough day?"

He chuckles, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "Take a rest. I was just thinking we should go out to eat. How does that sound?"

"Could be anything. There's a few restaurants around here. Though... I do know of a buffet nearby we should go to."

He smiles, leading her out of the house and towards the restaurant. "I don't remember the last time I've been to this place. I hadn't really left my house much before you landed on my doorstep."

"Painful thoughts. I lost someone dear to me a short while ago. Its been hard to have the desire to do much of anything. And I was kind of out of work at the time." He blushes, laughing softly.

(𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐋. 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫 • ♡ ) He has finally gotten around to it. After hearing rumors she was back in town, Inuyasha finally decides to get off his butt and visit his closest friend. The question is whether she'd remember him or not. After all, it has been a little while.

He grins as he surveys his handiwork. He's found the perfect home, but all he needs is her approval. Three bedrooms, two baths, usual kitchen/dining room. Everything they'd need. The only thing missing was 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐡 •.
