I am saddened to hear the passing of Daniel Dennett. Here is a great recent interview:

As a budding cognitive scientist there was no way I wasn't going to read a paper with a title like 'Why Not the Whole Iguana'. That article led me to 'Brainstorms' and that was it - I was hooked on this field. Dennett was a giant. His death is a huge loss.
